ISU Police respond to overnight bomb threat; nothing suspicious found

On April 27, the Iowa State University Police Department received an 11-minute telephone call, which ended at approximately 12:30 a.m., from an unidentified person indicating there was a bomb in the Durham Center. Officers responded to that location and conducted a thorough search of the building. Nothing suspicious was located. Durham Center had been closed and was not accessible to the public at the time police were called. The investigation is continuing. Durham Center is scheduled to open at 6:30 a.m.

The ISU Police Department was assisted by the Ames Police Department and the Story County Sheriff's Office.
