CyRide celebrates 40 years of service

In 1976, CyRide started with 5 small buses and offered door-to-door service with fewer than 90,000 riders a year. 40 years later, CyRide has over 100 vehicles, and provides nearly 7 million rides annually to Iowa State students and the larger Ames community. As the university has grown, CyRide has grown with it and has become more important than ever.
