Celebrating 40 years of the University Museums

This year, the Iowa State University Museums is celebrating 40 years since their founding. Since the opening of the Henry J. Brunnier Galleries in 1975, the University Museums have added over 2,000 public works of art, and over 30,000 pieces total to their collection, making it one of the largest campus public art programs in the country. For the last four decades, the University Museums have collected, cared for, and educated the ISU community with their impressive collection.
