AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University, the University of Iowa and University of Northern Iowa invite eighth-grade students and their families to learn more about the college planning process at a free program on Sunday, April 10, at the John and Mary Pappajohn Education Center, 1200 Grand Ave., Des Moines. The event will be held from 3 to 4 p.m.
Career exploration, financial planning and course selection are among the topics that will be addressed. Students from each of the three universities also will be on hand to share their experiences.

"It's never too early to begin the college planning process and start thinking about the options available to students and their families."
