ISU Pappajohn Center to hold April 15 Entrepreneur Forum

AMES, Iowa -- Jamie Myers, vice president of Regency Homes, West Des Moines, will speak on entrepreneurship, innovation and customer satisfaction at noon, Friday, April 15, in the Gallery Room, Memorial Union. The event is free and open to the public. Participants may bring a lunch.

Regency Homes builds hundreds of houses annually in the Des Moines area and eastern Iowa. Myers' father, Michael Myers, founded the company in 1986. In 2004, the company was awarded Ernst & Young's "Master Entrepreneur of the Year" and the Home Builder Association's "Builder of the Year."

The forums are sponsored bimonthly by the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship. The events feature area entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and business consultants. A roundtable discussion follows the presentation.
