ISU Dairy Science Club to raffle off basketballs signed by ISU men's and women's teams

AMES, Iowa -- For a mere $2, one lucky Cyclone fan could own basketballs signed by members of the Iowa State University men's and women's basketball teams. That's the price of a raffle ticket for a Dairy Science Club fund raiser for the Alison Ciancio Memorial Foundation.

One raffle winner will win a basketball autographed by women players and another signed by the men's team. Raffle tickets are available through March 21 in 123 Kildee Hall. Tickets are $2 each, or three for $5. The winning ticket will be drawn March 21.

All proceeds will go toward scholarships for ISU Dairy Science Club members who demonstrate strong commitment to helping others through involvement in community outreach activities.

Alison Ciancio was an ISU sophomore majoring in animal science when she was killed in a 2002 car accident near her home in Pennsylvania. She was an active member of the Dairy Science Club and the Seeing Eye Foundation.
