Usually you see big butter sculptures at the Iowa State Fair.  But this month butter sculptor Sarah Pratt is taking on another project.

Iowa State University has commissioned Pratt to create a life-size butter Cy to celebrate the school’s 100th homecoming “Cy-tennial”.

The 300-pound butter creation will sit in Kildee Hall.  You can see it through a window into the ISU meat laboratory cooler.

Pratt begins her work on October 22nd. Homecoming is on the 27th.
