ISU TO HOST ENTREPRENEUR FORUM JAN. 21

AMES, Iowa – Steve Ringlee, vice-president and treasurer for E-Markets Inc., will discuss "Launching an Internet-Based Company" at the Entrepreneur Forum on Friday, Jan. 21.

Ringlee will speak at Noon in the Gallery of the Memorial Union. The brown bag event is free and open to the public.

Ringlee has been a private equities investor and co-founder of several companies, including Diamond Animal Health, Apeiron and Compo Machinery. E-Markets’ goal is to be the premier one online marketplace for the agricultural business community. The Ames firm connects buyers and sellers of agricultural products. It also provides market information via the Internet.

Entrepreneurship Forums are held every other month during fall and spring terms. They are sponsored by the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, an outreach arm of the College of Business, and the Center for Advanced Technology Development.
