ISU DANCE EVENT TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

AMES, Iowa-- The Iowa State University dance program will present its 5th annual benefit performance on Sunday, Oct. 15, in the Betty Toman Studio Theater in the Forker Building.

The performance will begin at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for bleacher seats and $10 for balcony. Tickets are available at the door. Proceeds from the event will be used for scholarships for Iowa State dance students.

The benefit will feature performances by Iowa State dance faculty and students, and area professionals. Among the scheduled performances are a tap piece by guest artist Patrick Roddy, Omaha, Neb.; "Personals," a humorous piece by the Chamber Dancers of Des Moines; and a piece by Iowa State engineering student Chiayan Ko choreographed by the dance program's Vernon Windsor.
