BOON'S CREATIVE STUDENTS TRY SNOWLESS TOBOGGANING

AMES, Iowa – Iowa's anticipated typical winter hasn't arrived yet, but Iowa State students are getting out the toboggans anyway.

Hundreds of students in Iowa State landscape architecture professor Bill Boon's creativity class will hit the hill south of Stephens Auditorium in four-person toboggans of their own creation. The students will try out their cardboard crafts beginning at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 28.

The students were given the opportunity to choose whatever theme they wanted for their toboggans. Unusual is more important than fast, said Boon.
