'PORTFOLIO DESIGN' AUTHOR TO SPEAK, DO WORKSHOP AT ISU

AMES, Iowa – Harold Linton, author of the bestseller "Portfolio Design," will speak and do a workshop at the Iowa State University College of Design on Feb. 16-17.

Linton will do a portfolio design slide lecture at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, in the college's Kocimski Auditorium. It is free and open to the public. Following the lecture, Linton will sign copies of his book, which will be available for sale.

The hands-on portfolio workshop, including individual portfolio critiques, will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, in the College of Design atrium. Space is limited to 30 people and registration is required by noon on Monday, Feb. 12. The $16 registration fee covers photocopying images, continental breakfast, lunch and table rental. Additional registration information, including a list of materials to bring to the workshop, is available by contacting the College of Design Career Services office at (515) 294-0735.
