MEDIA ADVISORY: ISU'S COLLEGE OF FAMILY AND CONSUMER SCIENCES CELEBRATES 125 YEARS

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University's College of Family and Consumer Sciences will celebrate its 125th birthday Friday, Dec. 6, from 10 a.m. to noon in the college's LeBaron Lounge. The college was officially founded on Dec. 8, 1871. It was the first land-grant home economics college founded in the nation.
