MEDIA ADVISORY: ISU OFFERS NEW EGGS-TRA SPECIAL WEB PAGES
FOR EASTER
AMES, Iowa -- Ever seen a plaid Easter egg? How long should an egg boil before it's ready to be decorated? Is there an easy way to empty an eggshell for decorating?
Three new Web sites designed by Peggy Sherry, Extension research associate in the ISU College of Family and Consumer Sciences, will answer those questions and more. The sites include tips on handling and preparing Easter eggs for decorating and information about different decorating techniques. A third site offers general food safety advice on purchasing, handling, storing and eating eggs on any occasion.
