MEMORIAL DAY CEREMONY WILL BE AT ISU CEMETERY

AMES, Iowa -- Iowa State University's annual Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, May 25, in the ISU Cemetery.

The guest speaker is author Susan Allen Toth, an Ames native who references Ames places and events, including the Memorial Day ceremony, in several of her books. The invocation and benediction will be delivered by the Rev. Dave Nerdig of Bethesda Lutheran Church, Ames. Music will be provided by the "Tarnished Brass" band and James Tener.

If it rains, the ceremony will be moved to the Molecular Biology atrium.
