ISU TO HOST ENTREPRENEUR FORUM NOV. 19

AMES, Iowa – Kenneth Kirkland, executive director of the Iowa State University Research Foundation (ISURF) and director of the Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (OIPTT) will be the speaker for the Entrepreneur Forum on Friday, Nov. 19.

Kirkland will speak on "What Happens When I Create Intellectual Property at ISU?" at Noon in the Gallery of the Memorial Union. The brown bag event is free and open to the public.

Kirkland will discuss the role of ISURF and OIPTT at Iowa State. ISURF owns and manages intellectual property at ISU. The foundation was established to protect and license intellectual property developed by ISU faculty, staff and students.

Entrepreneurship Forums are held every other month during fall and spring terms. They are sponsored by the ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, an outreach arm of the College of Business.
