ENTREPRENEURIAL COURSE OFFERED
FOR ISU EMPLOYEES, STUDENTS

AMES, Iowa – The first of two free entrepreneurial training courses for Iowa State University students, faculty and staff will be Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Pine Room of the Memorial Union.

The seminar, "Smart Start – A Smart Approach to Starting a Business," covers such topics such as how to evaluate an opportunity, creating a business plan, business start-up questions, market research, financing, and forms of ownership.

The second session, covering the same issues, will be Wednesday, Nov. 17, from 6 – 8 p.m. in the Pine Room of the Memorial Union.

The ISU College of Business, the Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship and the Iowa Small Business Development Center sponsor the seminars.
