Meet graduating senior Cal Clucas

Cal Clucas grew up on a horse farm in a small community in Illinois. When he decided to come to Iowa State, he quickly found a pair of advisers that were also from his hometown. That bond helped Clucas navigate some ups and downs while at school. It started when Clucas was doing military training with the Marines. He ended up injured, unable to walk and needed to make the difficult decision to take some time away from school for medical reasons. But he came back stronger, finding an exchange opportunity in Wyoming to continue working with horses. He's now ready to graduate, and he credits Iowa State, and the ample help and resources he utilized while here, with getting him on the right path.
