ISU honors Jack Trice on the 100 year anniversary of his death

100 years after the death of Jack Trice, Iowa State honored his life and legacy as a student and athlete. As part of the commemoration, Trice was posthumously awarded his degree in animal husbandry. As Iowa State's first black athlete Trice broke barriers, and his story has inspired Iowa State for decades. Iowa State's football stadium now bears his name.
