As part of the Ames City Council's long-term goal to rejuvenate Campustown, community stakeholders are invited to attend a public input session to share thoughts and ideas about redevelopment of the area south of the Iowa State University campus.
The town hall meeting will be held Thursday, June 17, from 6 to 8 p.m., in the ISU Memorial Union South Ballroom.
Representatives of Kansas City, Mo.-based LANE4 Property Group, the master developer recently selected to partner with the City of Ames and Iowa State, will lead the session. Information gathered at the meeting will aid LANE4 in creating a development concept for Campustown.
After an anticipated six months of study and due diligence, the City of Ames may choose to enter into a memorandum of understanding - a contract to move the development forward - with LANE4.
