Graduating senior Abby Tornow wants to use architecture to build buildings and the community

Growing up, Abby Tornow loved to build with her brother's Legos. So it was her father who first mentioned that she might make a good architect. The idea stuck, and it led Tornow to Iowa State's architecture program. School, as well as several internships, have reinforced her love of architecture. Not just because of the chance to build buildings, but also the chance to build strong relationships in the communities where those buildings reside.
