Using virtual reality in football recruiting

Imagine being able to immerse yourself in an Iowa State football game day experience any day of the year. Well now, thanks to the ISU's Virtual Reality Applications Center (VRAC), some college football recruits can. Inside the C6 virtual reality room at Iowa State, recruits are surrounded on all sides by 100 million pixels showcasing the sights and sounds of game day at Jack Trice Stadium. The program, which took over a year to develop, gives student-athletes a chance to experience a home football game no matter when the visit campus. And it also showcases Iowa State as a premier place for engineering and virtual reality work.
