ISU anthropologist witnesses rare, lethal aggression in African chimps

Iowa State University Anthropologist Jill Pruetz has observed many things at her chimpanzee research site in Fongoli, Senegal, but what she witnessed following the death of one of the chimps was shocking and unexpected. Pruetz shares and discusses the video she and her colleagues shot after the body was discovered, and gives possible explanations for the chimps behavior.
