Lecturer to discuss Head Start study results
Helen Raikes, an associate with the Center on Children, Families and the Law at the University of Nebraska, Lincoln, will discuss some of the results from a national study of the country's Early Head Start program at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the Gallery Room, Memorial Union.
CNN's O'Brien to speak at ISU Oct. 27
Soledad O'Brien, co-anchor of CNN's "American Morning" show, will talk about the importance of mentoring for the next generation of women leaders at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, in the Great Hall, Memorial Union.
