Turner Classics line-up based on prof's research
Jay Newell's research on product placement in movies underlies the March film package on the cable network Turner Classic Movies. The 12 movies feature subtle and not-so-subtle use of brand-name items as movie props.
Two Iowa State colleges to host Career Day Feb. 23
The colleges of Business and Liberal Arts and Sciences will host a Career Day from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, in Hilton Coliseum, Iowa State Center. The event is free and open to the public. Free bus transportation is provided from campus.
ISU scientist lauds genomics progress

Search begins for dean of new college
The search for the first dean of Iowa State's College of Human Sciences is under way. Two current ISU colleges (Family and Consumer Sciences and Education) will be combined into the new College of Human Sciences on July 1.
