Veterinary hospital offers 24/7 emergency service

The Veterinary Teaching Hospital has expanded its emergency and critical care service to provide a veterinarian on premises at all times to give emergency care for small animal patients.

Pollard named next athletics director

Jamie Pollard, deputy athletic director at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has been named athletics director at Iowa State, effective Oct. 1. Pollard, 40, joined the athletic department at Wisconsin in May 1998 and has been deputy athletic director since 2003.
